Hand Bags

I am a 28 year old professional fashion designer with a HND qualification. My bags are made of locally made materials such a cane, African cotton print fabric and leather. My company trains young girls and women in the community to help with their livelihood. Now I produce my bags for the Mesh group in Italy.
The materials used are cane, African print cotton fabric and leather.

My target audience are everybody that would to feel the Africa touch of fashion. My inspiration is the uniqueness in the materials and the particular design of my bags. It is unique because is shows how simple but quality materials, can be used for this creativity. This bags can be used for all occasion and most of all the bags are affordable.

I started my bags because as a lady every part of my dressing would need a bag and it was very expensive to buy them. Other ladies were going through the same problem. so I taught of how would I help since I am a designer. That made me to think of cheaper but quality ways of producing my lines.

The story is simple. I spent the whole day designing a bay for a client and the bag was rejected but I have recovered and moved forward.  My greatest achievement is the helping hand I have been able to give young girls and women in my community. This makes my happy because I am able to give back to my people.
